Grishko Victory pointe shoes (known as Nikolay Victory to the USA market) is a brand new pointe shoe model which is an upgraded version of the Grishko Elite model.

Victory is based on the Grishko Elite last but the pointe shoe technologists actually created a new and improved version of the Elite last and called it Elite+

First up, let me tell you who the Grishko Victory pointe shoes will be great for:

Foot Shape: Due to the very roomy box, Victory accommodates feet with broader metatarsals with ease.
It will not work with feet that are narrow. Not even in the narrowest widths such as 0X on custom order. This is because of the last, box shape, profile height, etc.
So if you have a broad foot that is average – wide – very wide and the other attributes of the shoe seem good for you, then it’s a must try!

Toe Configuration: Victory has even more room inside the box compared to Elite due to the fact it’s now not a shoe built on turn shoe method.
The box shape has a faux taper to it but still fits like the Elite. It is best for roman – square configuration. It will absolutely not work on dancers with tapered toes (Egyptian Configuration).
And it will also not be suitable for Greek configuration. Semi tapered toe configuration might be able to work with it.
But generally speaking it is best for roman – square.

Toe Length: Victory’s vamp is low. It is best for dancer’s with short toes. If you have toes that are more short – medium you might get away with it too.
But don’t forget, should you have much longer toes you can simply request the vamp to be made longer in special/custom order!

Profile Height: The profile height (also known as crown) on Victory is medium – high.
It will not work on dancers with a lower profile height.

Arch Height & Strength: The shank construction in Victory is more pliable than Grishko Elite.
This is good news for those who struggled with the Elite shank (even in the softest option).
It now bends easier at the arch and also now features easy roll through technology.
Great for low – medium arch, but can work on dancer’s with higher arches too if the shoe is customised in ways to suit.

Strength Of The Box: For the first time ever, the pointe shoe technologists were able to combine TWO different box pastes in one pointe shoe!
The original Elite model featured classic smart paste. But the Grishko Victory shoe features classic smart paste in the box and platform AND
lightweight elastic (also known as Miracle glue) in the wings. This provides a much more adaptive box and also great support.
Paste is a very personal thing. Any of the pastes in Nikolay Grishko pointe shoes are suitable for any level of dancer.
However, if for example you live in a humid climate or sweat a lot and kill the box/platform fast then switching it to tropicana paste might be best for you.
Or, if you would prefer a lighter paste, again you can request this in custom.

Last: Victory is based on the Grishko Elite last but the pointe shoe technologists actually created a new and improved version of the Elite last and called it Elite+
They changed it because they wanted to give a more elegant shape and also more room in the box.

Box Shape: It features a Cylindric box shape which is wider in the metatarsal area but now also has an elegant faux taper whilst still being able to accommodate very broad and square foot types.
It is much more elegant in appearance compared to Grishko Elite.

Box Paste: For the first time ever, the pointe shoe technologists were able to combine TWO different box pastes in one pointe shoe!
The original Elite model featured classic smart paste. But the Grishko Victory shoe features classic smart paste in the box and platform AND

Sole: The sole is now machine stitched. Which means Victory can be made vegan. Elite has a hand stitched sole instead due to being made turn shoe method.
The machine stitched sole on Victory allows more room in the box too.

Innersole: Victory features the same lining that is used in the Miracle pointe shoe model.
It is like a soft velour and has silver nano particles in it which provide anti bacterial properties.
The soft lining features in the innersole AND the box just like Miracle.
There is a slim piece of foam in the platform too like Miracle

Classic construction with easy roll-through with unique last that is built as an improvement of the Iconic “Elite” model. This new last features an elegant faux taper, while still fitting very broad and square foot shape. This model features the broadest platform in the GRISHKO® line.
